The delicate balance between therapy and income from our workshops plus the contributions of parents and siblings cannot cover our carefully budgeted costs, and as government subsidies have not met the increased cost of living in the last five years we run on an annual deficit. Contributions from our friends in the local community help us bridge the funding gap and enable us to continue providing compassionate, quality care to the handicapped children and adults who make Camphill School and Farm their home.
Our mission is to create a diverse, lively and supportive environment where people with disabilities learn to live with their limitations, rather than suffer from them, and help them discover and develop their potential to the fullest extent. We value each person, regardless of disability, for their unique ability to contribute to the village.
